KB900401 - Hotfix for HP Report correction
You must install this hotfix on SMS site servers and manually run a SQL Server update
script. This hotfix resolve incorrect data displays in Reports in the SMS Administrator
Console. For more information about this hotfix and installation steps, see KB article
900401 on the Microsoft Help and Support Web site.
KB915801 - Hotfix for SMS SP2 DSUW
You must install this DSUW hotfix on your SMS 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) site server
and on all SMS remote Administration consoles in your SMS environment that will be
used for authorizing updates for HP servers. If you do not install this hotfix for SMS
2003, you will not be able to authorize HP ProLiant and Integrity updates using the
DSUW. DSUW will report “Unknown error 0x80071017”. Also DSUW doesn’t generate
the correct return code for HP updates until this hotfix is installed. For more information

Microsoft Help and Support Web site.
Additional Hotfixes Might Be Necessary
The following issues might become evident during large scale use. Review the
information for these issues, and consider how they might apply to your environment.
Q325804: When the Scan Tool or the software update advertisement is run on client
computers, the Scan Tool requires local administrative rights on the client computer, or
else it will return a failure status (unless you use the option to download and run). Unless
Windows hotfix Q325804 has been installed, the check for administrative rights might
fail.
WORKAROUND: Obtain these fixes as necessary.
Upgrading the SMS Inventory Tool for HP ProLiant
and Integrity Update to a newer version
The installer updates the following areas when upgrading the installed SMS Inventory
Tool for HP ProLiant and Integrity Update to a newer version. User customized settings
will be overwritten by the installer and user should backup their settings prior to the
upgrade.
