KB906554 - Hotfix for Distribute Software Updates Wizard (DSUW)
You must install this DSUW hotfix on your SMS 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) site server
and on all SMS remote Administration consoles in your SMS environment that will be
used for authorizing updates for HP servers. If you do not install this hotfix for SMS
2003, you will not be able to authorize HP ProLiant and Integrity updates using the
DSUW. Before installing the hotfix on your SMS site server, ensure exiting SMS
Administrator Console. This will eliminate extra system reboot operation due to update
of critical DLLs. For more information about this hotfix, see Microsoft Knowledge Base
(KB) article 906554 on the Microsoft Help and Support Web site.
KB901034 - Hotfix for SMS Advanced Clients and Management Points
You must install this hotfix on all Management Points and deploy this hotfix on all SMS
2003 SP1 Advanced Clients that will be used for scanning and updating of HP servers in
your SMS environment. If you do not install this hotfix, the Scan Tool will not be able to
send the CLIMSG_UPDATESSCAN_INFO_STATUS_CHANGE status message and
the CLIMSG_UPDATESSCAN_ WARNING_STATUS_REMOVED status message to
the SMS site server during the scan process that runs on SMS Advanced Clients and
Management Points. This will create a delay in updating the HP ProLiant and Integrity
update deployment status until the next SMS hardware inventory cycle runs. This delay
will affect the software update reports as well. For more information about this hotfix
and installation steps, see KB article 901034 on the Microsoft Help and Support Web
site.
KB886197 - Hotfix for 64-bit Windows support
You must install this hotfix on the SMS site servers and manually run the SQL Server
update script. This hotfix updates the package definition file to add support for 64-bit
versions of Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP. This hotfix also updates the
supported platforms list in the package properties to include 64-bit versions of Windows
