If this issue is occurring, the SMS database will show duplicated entries on
UpdateSummary Table. One is inserted by the Sync tool and a second one is inserted
after the Scan tool is run. The second entry contains <NULL> for the Type field.
WORKAROUND: Use the default values for database name, scan package name and
sync package name during installation to ensure data in tables is constructed correctly by
SMS.
