Using PMP 29
Display the VM host status
Trace the performance issue by following the amber (Major) icon.
Click VMWare GSX Server in the navigation tree to access the VM Host information and display the status page
for the host in the right pane. Related and important counters for VM Host appear in the Analysis Data table.
The Analysis Explanation indicates that the VM Host or at least one VM Guest is reporting a performance issue.
The remainder of this scenario examines other performance information available to assist in making a judgment
regarding the problem and determine if immediate action is required to resolve the performance bottleneck.
Display the VM guests
Click prior to the VMWare GSX Server in the navigation tree to access the VM Guests page. The VM Guest
Online Analysis page appears. This page displays the status page for VM Host in the right pane. Related and
important counters for VM Host appear in the Analysis Data table.
