Partition attempted to OLA a cell that was not fully ready for the operation. Probable
Cause: OLA cell hung during its part of the OLA process. Consult chassis codes from
the OLA cell to determine what happened. A secondary problem here is that the root
cell attempted to OLA a cell that could not have sent the Ready to OLA command
(since it hung). This would indicate a failure on the OS side to correctly handle
OLA-associated interrupts. Recommended Action: Collect IPMI events and contact
HP Customer Support for assistance. SNMP Trap:
hpevtBootOlaCellDidNotReachRendezvous - 8263 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8263
Partition attempted to OLA a cell still waiting at BIB. Probable Cause: Interrupt
problem. Root cell should not attempt to OLA a cell until that cell send the Ready to
OLA message, which a cell at BIB cannot have done. Recommended Action: Attempt
the OLA operation again. If failure continues, gather IPMI event logs and contact HP
Customer Support for assistance. SNMP Trap: hpevtBootOlaCellStillAtBib - 8264 in
HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8264
Partition attempted to OLA a cell in an unexpected Cell state. Probable Cause: OLA
cell has reached unknown state after sending Ready to OLA command, or OLA was
attempted on cell that was not ready to OLA. Recommended Action: Attempt the
OLA operation again, or collect IPMI event logs and contact HP Customer Support
for assistance. SNMP Trap: hpevtBootOlaCellUnexpectedCellState - 8265 in
HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8265
OLA cell was unable to reach some cell(s) in the alive set. Probable Cause: Bad fabric
link between OLA cell and cells already in the partition. Recommended Action: Fabric
links between cells may have failed. Contact HP Customer Support for assistance.
SNMP Trap: hpevtBootOlaCellCantReachAliveCells - 8267 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8267
CPUs of different maximum core frequencies are installed. Probable Cause: CPU's
of mixed maximum core frequencies are installed. Recommended Action: Install
CPU's with the same speed and cache size. SNMP Trap:
hpevtBootMixedCpuCoreFreqInstalled - 8269 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8269
The RVL CC-Togo link initialization workaround (PS221) failed. Probable Cause:
Hardware link initialization failed. Recommended Action: Contact HP support. Reset
cell. SNMP Trap: hpevtXinInitIntermittentFailure - 8271 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Error8271
PDC failed clearing the OLA steering bit in the Dillon microstatus reg. Probable
Cause: Probably something wrong with the cell hardware. Recommended Action:
Try OLAing a different cell. Contact HP Support personnel to troubleshoot the
problem. SNMP Trap: hpevtPdhErrClearOlaSteeringBit - 8643 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8643
The attempt to update the PD Addr Map to include OLA cell failed. Probable Cause:
System FW was unable to add the OLA cell's memory to the PD address map. Error
writing to PDH space. Likely cell board error. Recommended Action: Collect IPMI
event logs and contact HP Support. SNMP Trap:
hpevtBootOlaFailedUpdatePdAddrMap - 8645 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Error8645
Attempt to update the PD PDT with OLA Cell failed. Probable Cause: Unable to add
OLA cell's PDT to the partition PDT. Error accessing PDH space. Check fabric
connection between OLA cell and core cell. Recommended Action: Gather IPMI event
logs and contact HP Support. SNMP Trap: hpevtBootOlaFailedUpdatePdPdt - 8646
in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Error8646
Attempt to update the cell map to include the OLA Cell failed. Probable Cause:
Unable to write registers on the CC. Check cell board and system fabric.
Recommended Action: Collect IPMI events and contact HP Support. SNMP Trap:
hpevtBootOlaFailedUpdateCellMap - 8647 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Warning8647
Fabric Discovery could not initialize the local cell's XBC link. Probable Cause: CC to
XBC link init failure. Recommended Action: check CC, XBC, reset cell, reset backplane
SNMP Trap: hpevtFabricCc2XbcLinkInitFailed - 8648 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Error8648
Internal firmware programming error. Probable Cause: Report the IP to the firmware
team. Reset the system. This cannot be worked around in the field. SNMP Trap:
hpevtFwVirtualMappingError - 8652 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.Error8652
