Configuration information
The Show Config command displays a variety of configuration information at the port and switch levels.
In addition to the basic switch configurations, the Show Config command displays parameters that
control how data is maintained in the security and zoning databases. The Show Config command
displays the following types of information:
• Switch configuration parameters, page 30
• Zoning configuration parameters, page 30
• Security configuration parameters, page 31
See ”Displaying port information” on page 47 for details about displaying port configuration information.
Switch configuration parameters
Enter the Show Config Switch command to display the switch configuration parameters. These
parameters determine the operational characteristics of the switch. See Table 23 for a description these
parameters.

Zoning configuration parameters
Enter the Show Config Zoning command to display zoning configuration parameters. These
parameters determine how zoning is applied to the switch. See Table 25 for a description of these
parameters.
