Virtual Server Manager tasks
Use Virtual Server Manager to create and manage virtual partitions. To take full advantage of
Virtual Server Manager, you can perform the following tasks:
• Create, configure, and control virtual partitions and their resources, such as virtual switches
(vswitches), virtual network devices, and virtual storage devices (Chapter 7 (page 101))
• Monitor VSP and virtual partition operation (Chapter 4 (page 21))
• Modify virtual partition configurations (Section (page 102))
• Migrate virtual machines from host to host (“Migrating virtual machines” (page 87))
• Collect and view utilization data for VSP, virtual partitions, and their resources (Chapter 8
(page 113))
• Respond to status reports, error messages, and problems concerning virtual partitions
(Appendix A (page 125))
