4. Fine-tune the substrate advance with the print mode or modes that you intend to use. We
recommend using the following internal test plot from the Internal Print Server computer: C:\Users
\'the printer name'\Documents\HP IPS\Test Plot\ , plot name: SubstrateTestPlot. Set the correct
print mode and substrate, and print the test plot. See the Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Guide.
5. Perform Dynamic Color Calibration, mainly when using the HP Photorealistic substrate. A specific
user's guide for this calibration is available from
http://www.hp.com/.
6. Print the three ripped files provided, using the Internal Print Server. Nest them to print all on the
same row. We recommend using four to eight passes.
When you inspect the prints, you should observe no defects from a viewing distance of one meter if
printing with six or eight passes, or from three meters if printing with four or five passes.
NOTE: The option of five passes is not available with the HP Photorealistic substrate.
