LCS60 Configuration and Connection for PPP Service
4 . Enter the lcsadm interface.
5 . Add the PPP service:
Enter protocol from Config> or config protocol from Top>.
Add tcpip. Add atalk and ipx as required.
Add ppp.
6 . Define the PPP service sessions (maxsessions):
From the Config directory, enter max, or enter config maxsessions
at the Top directory.
Assign the number of sessions. The total number of sessions
through the LCS60 is 120 when PPP is configured.
7 . Set up IP network security groups (ipas). Enter ipas at the Top>Config>#
prompt or config ipas at Top> and follow the on-screen instructions for
configuring IP network security groups for the various workgroups
required. Refer to Screen 4-1 for an example. (Refer also to the Multiple
IP Subnetworks section of Chapter 1.)
