Configure Default Route, DNS, and SNMP

Note: Supported traps are listed in Chapter 1. Refer to RFC1213 for supported
MIBs.
Be sure to specify routed and snmp with the protocol command to start SNMP
service at boot time.
Starting the LCS60
After configuring the LCS60, you must start the protocols and services you have
configured using the start all command from the Top directory of lcsadm.
Base Level Backup
Once the LCS60 is installed and configured, the administrator should make a
complete set of backup tapes of the LCS60 variable files to preserve the confi-
guration information. These tapes can be labeled "day 0 backups" and can be
used to restore the LCS60 quickly to a working state if necessary. Use the com-
mand lcsadm -c config backup as described in Chapter 8.
