Macintosh printing-system software
The HP LaserJet M1120 MFP Series printing system for Macintosh is composed of the Printer Setup
Utility (Mac OS X V10.3, v10.4 and later) and HP-created printer dialog extension (PDE) files. The driver
uses these files to determine the features and postscript commands that the device supports. The
following components are installed:

The HP LaserJet Installer for Mac OS X V10.3, v10.4 and later
●
LIBRARY/PRINTERS/PPDS/CONTENTS/RESOURCES/LANGUAGE.LPROJ (for Mac OS X)
NOTE: Installation CD version 1.0 does not support the Intel-based Macintosh operating system.

Additional software
The following software utilities also install with the HP LaserJet M1120 MFP Series software for
Macintosh systems.
●
HP Director. Use the HP Director to gain access to product-specific software, default settings,
status, and onscreen Help. By using the HP Director, you can scan various types of originals, make
copies, configure and maintain the device, and see user documentation.
●
HP Scan. Use the HP Scan function to select scan options and then store the image to a file. Open
the scanning software from the HP LaserJet Director.
●
HP Setup Utility. Use the HP Setup Utility to configure and manage the HP printers installed on
your system.
System requirements

G3, G4, or G5 PowerPC processor
●
Mac OS X V10.3 and later, with 128 MB RAM and 50 MB of available hard-disk space
●
CD-ROM drive or Internet connection
Availability
This document provides information about the availability of the HP LaserJet M1120 MFP Series
printing-system software and related software and firmware. Printing-system software on a CD is
available from HP fulfillment centers.
