Replacing supplies and parts
Carefully follow the guidelines in this section when replacing device supplies.
Supply replacement guidelines
To facilitate the replacement of supplies, keep the following guidelines in mind when setting up the
device.

Sufficient space is required above and in the front of the device for removing supplies.
●
The device should be located on a flat, sturdy surface.

CAUTION Hewlett-Packard recommends the use of HP products in this device. Use of non-
HP products might cause problems requiring service that is not covered by the HP warranty or
service agreements.
Changing the print cartridge
1. Open the print-cartridge door.

2. Grasp the handle on the print cartridge and then pull the cartridge straight out to remove it. See
the recycling information inside the print cartridge box.
