9. Open the side door:
Loosen the door mounting screws using a flat-blade
screwdriver. The screws remain attached to the door. Swing the
door open, away from the front of the server. (See the
illustration below.) For the most working space, you may lift the
door up and off the enclosure at the rear, and set it aside.

Start Up
1. Assemble the following tools:
• a flat-blade screwdriver to reattach the enclosure door
• HD Server’s enclosure key for locking the keylock
2. If the door has been removed from its hinges, then with the door
parallel to the rear panel of the server, insert the three tabs into
their slots on the outside rear edge.
3. Swing the door closed and click it into place. Secure the door by
tightening the two captive screws.
4. Install the front bezel by attaching it at the bottom first, swinging
it upward, and then snapping it onto the enclosure at the top.

5. Lock the enclosure keylock if desired to prevent removing
components inside the enclosure.
6. On the rear of the server, reattach the power cables.
7. On the front of the server, switch on power and verify normal
operation (page 11-1). Notify users that file service has resumed.
