Reverse this procedure to install the optical drive connector board.

Subwoofer for Beats Audio HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC computer models 763788-001
Before removing the subwoofer, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn
the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 76).
5. Remove the optical drive.
6. Remove the base enclosure and top cover (see
Base enclosure on page 80).
Remove the subwoofer:

Disconnect the subwoofer cable (1) from the system board, remove the three screws (2), and
then remove the subwoofer by lifting it straight up.
NOTE: Carefully disconnect the cable by grasping the sides of the connector and do not pull
from the cables.
