Required access rights for resources used by the sync tool
The configuration of SMS Provider on the SMS site server determines the access rights required for
resources used by the sync tool. The sync tool can run on the following systems:
• An SMS site server with local SMS Provider.
• A remote client with SMS Provider on the SMS site server.
• An SMS site server with remote SMS Provider.
The following table lists the access rights required for each resource when the scan tool runs on the
following systems:
• An SMS site server with local SMS Provider
• A remote client with SMS Provider on the SMS site server
