Abstract
HP NonStop™ AutoSYNC™ software is a reliable, fault-tolerant, and automatic
subsystem for replicating files through synchronization. This manual describes the
uses, installation, and all other operational aspects of AutoSYNC.

This manual supports all J-series RVUs, all H-series RVUs, and all G-series RVUs,
until otherwise indicated in a replacement publication.

The new option UNPROTECTED has been added to complement the
OPENUPDATE option. See Files Opened for Update on page 3-14, the command
description of ADD SYNCFILESET on page 8-7, ALTER SYNCFILESET on
page 8-36 and SYNCHRONIZE
on page 8-97 for details.

STATUS BATCHID now accepts ranges of batchids as input, in the same format
as the ranges for INFO BATCHID. See command description on page 8-91
for
details.

STATUS SYNCFILESET now accepts ranges of syncfilesets as input, in the same
format at the ranges for INFO SYNCFILESET. See command description on page
8-94 for details.
•
The new ERRORS parameter has been added to the INFO BATCHID and INFO
SYNCFILESET LOG option, to display only the synchronizations for which errors
have been reported.
