Process Parameters
EXTSWAP N.A. Specifies location of conventional swap
file (see Memory Resource Impact
on
page 2-70)
Storage pool attribute set:
AUDIT AUDITED Indicates if TMF protected disks are
allowed
MIRROR MIRRORED Indicates if mirrored disks are allowed
STARTDOWN STARTSTATE Specifies if the execution state of the
storage pool process should be set to UP
or DOWN when the process is started.
This is useful if you are trying to
diagnose a problem and do not want
processes to start automatically or if you
have a large SMF configuration and want
to bring up parts of it separately.
UPDATESTATS UPDATESTATS Specifies the number of minutes to
elapse between statistic refreshes. If you
have a pool whose data is very static,
you will see a performance improvement
if you increase this value from the default
of 1.
DISKTHRESHOLD DISKTHRESHOLD Specifies a threshold at which the disk
processes associated with physical
volumes in the storage pool should emit
an EMS disk full event.
DISKINTERVAL DISKINTERVAL Specifies a percent interval at which disk
full events should be generated after the
DISKTHRESHOLD value has been
reached.
EXTENTTHRESHOLD EXTENTTHRESHOLD Specifies a threshold at which the disk
processes associated with physical
volumes in the storage pool should emit
an EMS file full event.
EXTENTINTERVAL EXTENTINTERVAL Specifies an extent interval at which file
full events should be generated after the
EXTENTTHRESHOLD value has been
reached.
