Summary of SMF Events
An SMF event can conditionally contain what is known as a shared services
notification. Shared services notifications are generated when one of the internal
services used by various SMF components experiences an error. Shared services are
performed by a memory manager, a lock manager, a thread manager, a file open

VOLNOTINPOOL -5049 The volume specified for a catalog table is not in
a pool.
REVERTFLAB -5050 A file system error occurred while processing a
file label.
DELANTRECORD -5051 A file system error occurred while attempting to
delete an ANT entry.
FALLBACKABORTED -5052 A revert operation was aborted by user request.
FALLBACKCOMPLETED -5053 An SMREVERT operation completed
successfully.
ADDDEPOBJRECORD -5054 A file system error occurred while attempting to
add a dependent object record for a file.
NOSQLON8CHARVOLS -5055 An attempt was made to place SQL objects on
an 8-character named volume.
INVALIDNAME -5056 An internal program error has occurred.
INVALIDREPLY -5057 An internal program error has occurred.
INVALIDATEDUMP -5058 A file system error has occurred.
DEVICEINFOERR -5059 An error occurred attempting to obtain
information about a device.
SCFINTERACTIONERROR -5060 An error occurred attempting to communicate
with an SCF process.
