Summary of SMF Events
POOLNAMEMISMATCH 5006 A request specified a physical volume not
associated with the specified storage pool.
ACCESSVIOLATION 5007 A file could not be accessed because the
requester’s privileges were insufficient.
THMGRSTARTTHREADERR 5008 A thread could not be created by the thread
manager.
THMGRSEMAPHOREERR 5009 The thread manager primary process is stopping.
LOCKERROR 5010 The lock manager could not obtain a lock.
UNABLEACCESSANT 5011 File name mapping could not be performed.
UNABLEACCESSPENDOPS 5012 An incomplete operation could not be completed.
NOPHYSNAMESAVAIL 5013 A physical volume is no longer available for
logical file placement (no more physical names
are available).
NOPHYSVOLSAVAIL 5014 A physical volume that meets the criteria for a
new logical file is not available.
INDETERMINATEOUTCOME 5015 DP2 failed while SMF was attempting to purge,
alter, or rename a file.
UNABLEDELETEPROC 5016 A storage pool or VDP could not be deleted.
UNABLEACCESSCATALOG 5017 Unable to read one of the catalog tables.
MSGERROR 5018 A message from DP2 could not be interpreted.
LOGICALNAMEMISMATCH 5020 VDP cannot be started due to an error in catalog
configuration.
CHECKPOINTERR 5021 An error occurred during checkpointing.
ERRREPLYTOCHECKPOINT 5022 A backup process generated an error during
checkpointing.
UNSUPPORTEDDIALECT 5023 The versions of a requester and SMF are not
compatible.
UNABLETOBRDCASTEVT 5024 A storage pool process experienced an internal
error.
UNABLEREDEFPOOL 5025 A storage pool could not be redefined.
STATESTARTERR 5026 A process could not be started.
DEFAULTCASEERR 5027 An internal function experienced a case error.
PRCSBACKUPRETRYREQ 5028 A request was submitted to a backup process
instead of a primary process.
MSGREADERR 5029 A received message could not be read.
TOOMUCHCTRLINFO 5030 A request was received containing a control
message buffer that was too large.
