Removing the Cleaning Cartridge

1. Examine the Default Screen on the Control Panel to assure that the cleaning

cartridge has been unloaded from the drive. If not, unload it using the Load/Unload

menu, as described in Load/Unload

on page 3-10.

2. Remove the magazine by using the procedure described in Inserting and Removing

Cartridges on page 3-17.

3. Remove the cleaning cartridge from the magazine.

4. Insert any desired data cartridge into the empty slot.

5. Insert the magazine into the 5258ACL.

6. Close the magazine door.
