Effects of the Hierarchy
Modifier
Table 5-2 shows the effects of the hierarchy modifier when it is applied to the various
object types in this subsystem. The default value is ALL.

Object Type Hierarchy Modifier DSNM applies the command to:
LINE ALL The specified lines and all subordinate SUs
ONLY Only the specified lines
SUBONLY Only the SUs that are subordinate to the specified lines
SU ALL Only the specified SUs (there are no subordinate
objects)
ONLY Only the specified SUs
SUBONLY (there are no subordinate objects)
Control Commands The DSNM START, STOP, and ABORT commands are similar to the SCF START,
STOP, and ABORT commands.
The INFO Command When the INFO command is issued against an AM3270 object, it produces much the
same information as the SCF INFO DETAIL command. Refer to the SCF Reference
Manual for AM3270 and TR3271 for more information.
The STATISTICS Command When the STATISTICS command is issued against an AM3270 object, it produces
much the same information as the SCF STATS command, but in a different format.
