Note Table 5-11 is valid for the DSNM STATUS command. Because of the way that subsystems are
implemented, the NetStatus product and the DSNM INQUIRE command can report objects as either up or
down, which the DSNM STATUS command reports as pending.
Effects of the Hierarchy
Modifier
Table 5-12 shows the effects of the hierarchy modifier when it is applied to the various
object types in this subsystem. The default value is ALL.

LINE ALL The specified lines and all subordinate PUs and LUs
ONLY Only the specified lines
SUBONLY Only the PUs and LUs that are subordinate to the
specified lines
PU ALL The specified PUs and all subordinate LUs
ONLY Only the specified PUs
SUBONLY Only the LUs that are subordinate to the specified LUs
LU ALL Only the specified LUs (there are no subordinate
objects)
ONLY Only the specified LUs
SUBONLY (there are no subordinate objects)
