Abstract
HP NonStop™ AutoSYNC™ software is a reliable, fault-tolerant, and automatic
subsystem for replicating files through synchronization. This manual describes the
uses, installation, and all other operational aspects of AutoSYNC.

This manual supports all J-series RVUs, all H-series RVUs, and all G-series RVUs,
until otherwise indicated in a replacement publication.


PAK and UNPAK are now recognized by the Autosync command interpreter.

The maximum number of syncfilesets a syncuser may configure has been raised to
32767.

The description of the MapDB subvolume content has been enhanced to include
the temporary files created by AutoSYNC for processing synchronizations. See
MapDB
on page A-2 and Security and Authorization on page 4-7 for details.

The HISTORY command can now be abbreviated to “H”.
