Using Command Line Parameters
The parameters are not case sensitive. All the parameters are the same as those
described in the Main Menu except -A, which is in the Main Menu is used to display
either the NSP’s audit or configuration log.
Example:
where:
-D$NSP1 specifies that device name is $NSP1.
-FTESTFILE specifies that data file name is TESTFILE.
-LNSPLOG specifies that log file name is NSPLOG.
-S bypasses menu and start testing.
-Ddevice Normally the NSP is controlled by Boxcar, if this is the case
provide the boxcar process name. If boxcar is not running and
you wish to communicate directly with the NSP, provide the IP
address. If the configuration is Asynchronous provide the device
name. If the configuration is SERVERCLASS_SEND provide the
ARM Pathway process name, then use the -Z parameter to
provide the serverclass name.
-O TCP/IP port number The number assigned to the TCP/IP port.
-Ffile Data file name. Cannot use with option -B.
-G Copy test commands from data file into memory. Default is Off.
-H[I/N/R] Handle device <CR><LF>: I-Ignore (default), N-Normal,
R-Require.
-K Display character count. Default is Off.
-Lfile Log file name. Default Log name is NSPLOG.
-M MFK name (don't check if blank):
-Rn Number of times data file/diagnostic functions is tested. Default is
1 (range 0-32000).
-S START TESTING DEVICE (Bypass menu). Must have options
-D, and either -B or -F.
-Tn Timed repeat count (range 0-15000). Default is 0.
-V Turn on verbose mode. Default is Off.
-Wn I/O Timeout in seconds (range 0-1800); 0 = wait forever (default).
-Zname Only used when Option C is set to S, this parameter is used to
specify the ARM serverclass.
