FRU Code
The Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) Code field is not used and shall always return a
value of zero.
SKSV
The Sense Key Specific Valid bit, when set to zero, specifies that bytes 15-17 are not
defined. If the sense key is ILLEGAL REQUEST and the SKSV bit is set to one, bytes
15-17 describe the parameter in error.
C/D
When set, indicates that the illegal parameter is in the CDB. A C/D of zero indicates
that the illegal parameter is in the parameter list from the initiator.
BPV
When the Bit Pointer Valid bit is set, it indicates that the bit pointer field is valid and
designates which bit of the byte designated by the field pointer is in error. For a multi-
bit field, it points to the most significant bit of the field.
Field Pointer
Indicates which byte of the CDB or parameter list was in error. For a multi byte field,
the most significant byte is indicated.
FSC
The fault symptom code (FSC) field contains the two byte fault symptom code reported
by the device.
