Removing the Cleaning Cartridge

1. Check the Default screen on the Control Panel to make sure that the

cleaning cartridge has been unloaded from the drive. If not, unload it using

the Load/Unload menu, as described in Section 3, Operating the Tape Drive

2. Remove the magazine by using the procedure described under Inserting and

Removing Tape Cartridges on page 3-19.

3. Remove the cleaning cartridge from the magazine.

4. Insert any desired tape cartridge into the empty slot.

5. Insert the magazine in the tape drive.

6. Close the magazine door.
