the

graphics

window

can

be

posi-

tioned

over

any

portion

of

the

plotter

buffer

by

using

the

(Shift)

key in combination

with

the

cursor keys.

The

effect is as

if

the

plotter

buffer is

capability to digitize from either

the

internal

plotter

or

from a peripheral plotter.

The

syntax for

the

DIG

I T I Z E

statement

is:

DIGITIZE

XPosition,

VPosition,

Penstatus

Digitizing

From

the

Internal

Display.

When

the

DIG I T I Z E

statement

is executed from a program, it will cre-

ate a graphics

window

and

display

the

pen

icon.

Once

the

pen

icon appears,

use

the

cursor keys to position

the

pen

on

the

plotter

bed

of

the

internal

display. Press

the

(Enter)

to

en-

ter

the

pen

coordinates (the

computer

will

beep

to acknow-

ledge

the

input). Press

(Break)

to

pause

the

program

and

abort

the

digitizing.
