primary. Review the list of supported components in a cluster environment. DO NOT
select those components that a re not supported in a clustered environment. Refer to

for the list of Components supported in a highly available environment. De-
select
HP Insight Control server deployment and HP Insight Remote
Support Advanced softw are if they are pre-selected, since they are not
supported. Click
Next. Depending on the components you choose, you may need to
configure parameters which are not described below. Refer to the ICG for instructi ons
on how to configure these parameters.
k. Repeat the above Steps 12 through 20 of “Upgrade the primary system. ”
l. Install Insight Software 6.3 Incremental Update on the Seconda ry System.
m. You may choose to install on Insight Software 6.3 incremental update on the
secondary. Refer to Appendix C: Applying Insight Software Incremental Updates
(Pa tches) for more information about installing an update. See How to run the
Incremental Update Installer in Appendix C for details about running the incremental
installer.
6. Use Failover Cluster Manager to update cluster resources for the new software.
Typically, if you are upgrading from 6.1 Update 1 or 6.2 to 6.3 or a 6.3 incremental update, no
changes are required.
If you are installing new Insight Software products, refer to Adding the Insight Software cluster
resources for more information about how to add cluster resources for each products.
a. Starting Systems Insight Manager on the primary system.
i. On the secondary system, run Administrative ToolsServices and then
stop the following Insight Software services in the order listed:
• HP Insight O rchestra tion
• HP Logical Server Automation
• HP Storage Provisioning Ma na ger
• HP Extensible Storage & Server Adapter
• RSC e n tra l
• RSJRAS
• RSScheduler
• HP Applica tion Discovery
• HP Agentless Collection for Linux Systems
• HP Agentless Da ta Collector Service
• HP Insight Control virtual machine management
• HP Systems Insight Manager
• HP Global Workload Manager Central Management Server
• HP Insight Control server migra tion Applica tion Service
• HP Insight Control server migration W eb Service
• HP Version Control Repository Manager
• Pegasus WMI Mapper
ii. Power the primary system on, and log in to Windows as Administrator. Bo th
the primary and secondary systems should be running.
iii. Use Fa ilo ver Cluster Ma na ger to verify tha t the SQL Server cluster service is
online on the secondary system.
