Insight Dynamics infrastructure orchestration
1. Be sure both primary and secondary systems have the same users in the HP IO W indows user
groups:
a. O n the prima ry system Start  Administrative Tools  Server Manager. In the left
pane expand
Configuration and Lo ca l Users and Groups.
b. Take note of the users or user groups inside o f the HPIO_Administrators, HPIO_Users,
and
HPIO _A r ch itects Groups.
2. Go to the secondary system and ensure that the users observed on Step 1.b a re correctly appear
in the HPIO_Administrators, HPIO _Users, and HPIO _Architects groups.
3. Set the HPioCmsIP property to the fully qua lified Systems Insight Mana ger virtua l server name.
a. Click Sta r t  Programs  Hew lett-Packard  Operations Orchestration


Cluster Systems Insight Manager group resources.
b. Ente r va lid user credentials.
c. The Defa ult Public Repository should be displayed. If the Defa ult Public Repository is
not shown, select
Rep ository  Open Repository…  Default Public
Repository.
d. Exp a nd the Configuration node.
e. Expand the Sy stem Pr o perties node.
f. Double click the HpioCm sIP property.
g. Enter the fully qua lified Systems Insight Manager virtua l server name or the Systems
Insight Mana ger virtua l server IP address in the
Property Value field.
h. Check in the property by clicking on the padlock.
i. Ente r a co mment and click OK.
4. Update the RAS_Operator_Pa th property to include the fully qua lified Systems Insight Manager
virtual server name.
a. Click Sta r t  Programs  Hew lett-Packard  Operations Orchestration


b. Ente r va lid user credentials.
c. Th e Defa ult Public Repository should be displa yed. If the Defa ult Public Repository is
not shown, select
Rep ository  Open Repository…  Default Public
Repository.
d. Exp a nd the Configuration node.
e. Exp a nd the Rem o te Action Services node.
f. Double-click the RAS_Operator_Path property.
g. Check out the property by clicking on the padlock.
h. Update the URL field to include the fully qua lified Systems insight Ma na ger virtua l
server name or the Systems Insight Manager virtual server IP address.
i. Check in the property by clicking on the padlock.
j. Ente r a co mment and click OK.
k. Click the Rem o te Action Services link a t the top of the pa ge.
l. Click Ch eck Availability and verify tha t the Availability column is set to
AVAILA BLE .
