Creating the resource for HP Insight Dynamics infrastructure orchestra tion
If HP Insight Dyna mics infra structure orchestra tion wa s insta lled, crea te the following cluster resources.
Cr ea t in g the generic service resour ce: RSSch ed u ler
• Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
o Select the RSSched uler service.
o Th e Confirmation screen shows Service: RSScheduler (RSScheduler)
• Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP SIM Di sk and HP SIM
Network Name.
Creating the generic service resource: RSJRAS
• Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
o Select the RSJRAS service.
o Th e Confirmation screen shows Service : RSJRAS (RSJRA S)
• Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP SIM Disk and
RSScheduler.
Cr ea t ing the generic service resource: RSCentral
• Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
o Select the RSCen tr a l service.
o Th e Confirmation screen shows Ser v ice: RSCentral (RSCen tr a l )
• Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: H P SIM Disk and RSJRA S.
Cr ea t ing the generic service resource: HP Insight Orchestration
• Use the New Resource Wizard to create a generic service:
o Select the HP Insight Orchestration service.
o Th e Confirmation screen shows Ser v ice: HP Insight Orchestration (hpio).
• Add the following dependencies to the new resource’s properties: HP SIM Disk , HP Global
Workload Manager Cen tral Management Server, HP Systems Insight Manager, HP
Insight Control virtual machine management, HP Sto r a ge Provisioning Manager,
HP Lo g ica l Server Automation, and RSCen tr a l .
You have completed configuring the cluster resources for Systems Insight Manager and Insight
Software. See Appendix A for a summary of the Insight Software cluster resources.
