6. Use Failover Cluster Manager to update the cluster resources for the new software.
The specific modifications needed for the cluster resources vary, depending on your
Insight Management source and target release numbers. Identify the “Change Set”
number from Table 4 that corresponds to upgrade that you are performing. Then
execute each following step that is prefaced with your Change Set number. For example,
if you are upgrading from 6.2 to 7.2, perform all steps that tagged with a “[1]” or “[All]”.

a. [All]: If the HP SIM clustered service is online, use the Failover Cluster
Manager to take it offline All resources EXCEPT the Server Name and Disk
Drive resources must be offline at this time.
b. [1]: If the resource named HPSIM Delay Script exists in your system, delete
it:
i. In Failover Cluster Manager, in the center pane, right-click HP
Systems Insight Manager and select Properties.
ii. Click the Dependencies tab.
iii. In the Resource column, select HPSIM Delay Script and then click
the Delete button.
iv. Verify that HP Systems Insight Manager has a dependency on
Pegasus WMI Mapper. If it does not, add this dependency.
v. Click OK.
vi. In Failover Cluster Manager, right-click HPSIM Delay Script,
select Delete, and confirm.
c. [1]: If HP Matrix Operating Environment is installed, replace the resource
HP Agentless Collection for Linux Systems with the HP Capacity Advisor
Data Service resource:
i. In Failover Cluster Manager, in the center pane, right-click the HP
Agentless Collection for Linux Systems resource, select Delete,
and confirm.
ii. Add a new resource named HP Capacity Advisor Data Service and
its dependencies, as described in Creating resources for HP Matrix
components.
d. [1]: If HP Matrix Operating Environment is installed, replace the resource
HP Storage Provisioning Manager with the HP Storage Provisioning
Manager Service resource.
