b. The cluster resource formerly known as HP Storage Provisioning Manager is now named HP
Storage Provisioning Manager Service. Follow the sub-steps defined for HP Storage
Provisioning Manager Service resource under
Creating resources for HP Matrix components
to recreate the cluster resource with a new name.
c. The following two new Insight Management products will be installed and are required to be
added to the Insight Management cluster resource group:
HP SPM Storage Module J2EE Service
HP SPM Storage Module Service
d. Delete the HPSIMDelay Script cluster resource. In the Failover Cluster Manager, point to
HPSIMDelay Script cluster resource, right-click it, and select Delete.

7. Start Systems Insight Manager on the primary system.
a. On the secondary system, run Administrative Tools Services and then stop the following
Insight Management services in the order listed:
i. HP Matrix Infrastructure Orchestration
ii. RSCentral
iii. RSJRAS
iv. RSScheduler
v. HP Logical Server Automation
vi. HP Storage Provisioning Manager Service
vii. HP SPM Storage Module Service
viii. HP SPM Storage Module J2EE Service
ix. HP Extensible Storage & Server Adapter
x. HP Capacity Advisor Data Service
xi. HP Agentless Data Collector Service
xii. HP Global Workload Manager Central Management Server
xiii. HP Application Discovery
xiv. HP Insight Control virtual machine management
xv. HP Insight Control server migration Web Service
xvi. HP Insight Control server migration Application Service
xvii. HP Version Control Repository Manager
xviii. OpenSSH Server
xix. HP Systems Insight Manager
xx. Pegasus WMI Mapper
b. Power the primary system on, and log in to Windows as Administrator. Both the primary and
secondary systems should be running.
c. Use Failover Cluster Manager to verify that the SQL Server clustered service is online on the
secondary system.
d. Use Failover Cluster Manager to move the Insight Management clustered service to the
primary system. Bring the service online. In this paper, the Insight Management service is
called cms-c2-hpsim.
8. Perform validation and final configuration steps.
a. After waiting a few minutes to ensure that the Systems Insight Manager service has started,
connect to the Systems Insight Manager service through a client Web browser, using the
network name specified for the Systems Insight Manager network name cluster resource.
b. Select Help About to verify the product names and versions in the About page. Click Close
to close the About page.
c. Select Tasks & Logs View All Scheduled Tasks. Run the daily system identification task.
d. Select Options Discovery. Run any appropriate discovery tasks to make sure that managed
system data is up to date.
