2. Add the following property to the gWLM Agent property file found in ~\Virtual Server
Environment\conf\gwlmagent.properties:
com.hp.gwlm.security.virtualLocalHostName=<SIMvirtualserverIP>
Where <SIMvirtualserverIP> is the virtual server IP address of Systems Insight
Manager.
In Failover Cluster Manager, take offline the HP Systems Insight Manager and the HP Global
workload Manager Central Management System resources. Then bring both resources back
online.
3. Log on to CMS through HPSIM. Select Options Federated CMS Configuration. Select the default
CMS shown, then click Delete CMS… and Yes to confirm deletion. Next, click Add CMS... In the
CMS name field, enter the FQDN of the HP SIM virtual server and click Next. Review the CMS
Certificate and click Next. Enter the username, password, and domain for the SQL/IM
Administrator account and click Finish. The CMS is listed as the HP SIM FQDN and the
Configuration Status is Configured.
HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration
1. Be sure both primary and secondary systems have the same users in the HP IO Windows user
groups:
a. On the primary system, click Start Administrative Tools Server Manager. In the left pane
expand Configuration and Local Users and Groups.
b. Take note of the users or user groups inside of the HPIO_Administrators, HPIO_Users, and
HPIO_Architects Groups.
2. Go to the secondary system and ensure that the users listed in Step
1.b correctly appear in the
HPIO_Administrators, HPIO_Users, and HPIO_Architects groups.
3. After completing Step
2, edit the hpio property file found in ~\Matrix infrastructure
orchestration\hpio.conf. In the following line, starting with #wrapper, delete the “#”
and replace [FQDN] with the FQDN of the HPSIM virtual server:

#wrapper.java.additional.15=-Dfed.cms.name=[FQDN]

4. Set the HPioCmsIP property to the fully qualified Systems Insight Manager virtual server name.
a. Click Start Programs Hewlett-Packard Operations Orchestration HP Operations
Orchestration Studio on the node that owns the Failover Cluster Systems Insight Manager
group resources.
b. Enter valid user credentials. (Try user Admin with the domain password for the SQL/IM
Administrator account.)
c. The Default Public Repository should be displayed. If the Default Public Repository is not
shown, select Repository Open Repository… Default Public Repository.
d. Expand the Configuration node.
e. Expand the System Properties node.
f. Double-click the HpioCmsIP property.
g. Enter the fully qualified Systems Insight Manager virtual server name or the Systems Insight
Manager virtual server IP address in the Property Value field.
h. Check in the property by clicking the padlock.
i. Enter a comment and click OK.
5. Update the RAS_Operator_Path property to include the fully qualified Systems Insight Manager
virtual server name.
