vii. The Sign-in tab is selected. Under Use these credentials enter the service
account credentials you provided to the Insight Management Installer on
the target CMS, for example, domain\username and password.

x. Click Save to complete.
12. Run the updated discovery task.
a. In the discovery task list box, select Discover physical cluster nodes.
b. Click Run Now.
c. Wait for the task to complete. Minor error messages might appear.
13. Check that the Federation CMS Configuration is correct.
a. Select Options → Federation CMS Configuration…
• Verify that the appropriate systems are listed.
• Ensure that the HP SIM virtual server name of the target CMS is listed.
• Ensure that the individual node names of the cluster are NOT listed.
14. In a cluster environment, configure the managed_cms_list property in
globalsettings.props for HP IO server pools.
a. Edit the <SIM Install Path>\config\globalsettings.props file.
b. Update the HP SIM virtual network name in the managed_cms_list property
in the globalsettings.props file.
For example:
managed_cms_list =source_hpsim_virtual_network_name,
secondary_1, secondary_2
After import, managed_cms_list should be updated to the following:
managed_cms_list =target_hpsim_virtual_network_name,
secondary_1, secondary_2
15. Edit the SPM_HOST property in the LSA property file:
a. Edit the lsa.properties found in ~\Virtual
ServerEnvironment\conf\lsa\lsa.properties file.
b. Update the SPM_Host value to the FQDN of the HP SIM virtual server.
