4 Hardware requirements for managed systems
This chapter provides the hardware, firmware, and software requirements for servers that Insight
Management can license and manage, as well as information on public cloud providers.
Public cloud providers
In addition to provisioning with on-premise resources, Matrix OE infrastructure orchestration supports
provisioning virtual servers to the following public cloud providers: HP Cloud Services, Savvis, and
Amazon Web Services.

HP recommends Onboard Administrator (OA) firmware version 3.60, but version 3.55 is supported.
Supported servers
This section lists the HP and third-party servers that Insight Management can manage.
Older servers that are not listed in this support matrix might still work with Insight Management.
However, HP has stopped testing Insight Management on older servers and does not claim them
to be officially supported.
