This chapter provides the hardware, firmware, and software requirements for servers that can be
licensed and managed by Insight Management.

HP recommends Onboard Administrator (OA) firmware versions 3.50 and 3.55, but earlier versions are supported.
Supported service packs and support packs
Service packs and support packs represent OS-specific bundles of optimized drivers, utilities, and
management agents that provide you with a system software baseline that has already been tested
and verified by HP. Additionally, the Service Packs for ProLiant also contain firmware.
