If a VC profile was unassigned when the failure occurred, the VC

profile definition

c. Use the Virtual Connect Manager command line utility to release the external

manager lock. For details about releasing the external manager lock, see the HP

Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager User Guide.

d. Create the VC Domain Group from VCEM with the exact same settings as before.

e. Add the same VC Domains to the VC Domain Group as before.

f. If you have VC-based logical servers and storage pool entries in the portability

group associated with this VC Domain Group, you will need to perform an LSM

refresh. Go to HP Matrix OE visualization… from the Tools menu in Systems Insight

Manager. Select Logical Servers Refresh… from the Tools menu in the Virtualization

Manager. Mark Virtual Connect Enterprise Manager (VCEM) and the Change

Logical Server Associations boxes and provide the old and new Domain Group

names. Then click Refresh.
