The iosync –IPDeletionTask command is used to reclaim IP addresses once the server
using the IP address is no longer in service or provisioned. This can be used when a post-
backup created service is deleted. If the post-backup created service is no longer
managed by infrastructure orchestration, the IP address does not get automatically
returned to the Usable IP Address Space.
In the example shown in Figure 12, the IP address 16.89.116.156 is returned to the
infrastructure orchestration Usable IP Address Space. The contents of the
DeleteIPAddresses.txt file are shown in Figure 13.
