Backing up and Restoring HP Insight Management 7.0 Central Management Server (Windows)

68
Important:
By default, expired services are left in a deactivated state.
However, if, as a post-backup activity, an expired service was
deleted and resources (IP Address) re-allocated to another service,
the service definition must be deleted during this phase. As noted in
the phase 2 RESOLUTION item below, the lease.end.policy
parameter in the <HPIO>conf\hpio.properties file can be used
to control the behavior.
**** Analysis: Remove deleted services. ****
**** Section 4 of 5, phase 2 of 3 ****
HP Matrix infrastructure orchestration services in the restored database may
have been been deleted after the backup was taken. If so, in this phase you can
delete these services from the restored database.

Identify already deleted services.....................................[INPUT]
ISSUE: Failure to remove infrastructure services that were
deleted after the backup was taken will result in
available resources being marked as in use.
RESOLUTION: To delete services, modify the
"InfrastructureServices.txt" file and mark the
services that were deleted after the backup was
taken.
ADVISORY: It is not mandatory to identify all post-backup deleted
services. After resynchronization, you can use HP Matrix
infrastructure orchestration to remove them. However, it is
recommended that you remove these services now, to free up
the compute, storage, and network resources allocated to
them.
