Place the "HP Storage Provisioning Manager Service" in recovery mode by editing

the file "C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\Storage Provisioning

Manager\state\ApplicationConfig.xml" and setting the property <RecoveryMode> to

"InternalRecovery".
