Personal Information
Manager (PIM)
Collection of programs used to manage daily business tasks (for
example: Contacts, Calendar, and Tasks).
Profiles Collection of Bluetooth settings.
Service discovery Determination of which programs you have in common with other
devices.
Changing Bluetooth Settings
1. Press Start > Settings > Connections > Bluetooth.
2. Scroll and select the bluetooth connection for which you want to change
the settings.
3. Follow the on screen instructions and press Done.
Connecting To Bluetooth Headset

Bluetooth Device Profiles
The functions that Bluetooth supports are called services or profiles. You can
communicate only with Bluetooth devices that support at least one of the
following profiles:
ActiveSync—Uses SPP to connect to ActiveSync on a computer
Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP)
Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP)
Personal Area Networking (PAN)
Generic Access Profile (GAP)
Hands Free Profile (HFP)
Headset Support Profile (HSP)
Human Interface Device Profile (HID)
