2 Installation procedure
The HP XP 9000 SRA Software provides the files shown in “RMSRA20 files” (page 24).

NOTE: DIR is <SRM install directory>\storage\sra\RMXP. The <SRM install
directory> is shown by HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VMware, Inc.\VMware
vCenter Site Recovery Manager\InstallPath, such as C:\Program Files (x86)\
VMware\VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager.
If the <SRM install directory> does not exist, C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware
vCenter Site Recovery Manager is the default.
Procedure for new introduction
You must install this product at both the local site SRM server (protected site) and the remote site
SRM server (recovery site). You must confirm that the VMware Site Recovery Manager Service is
enabled as a service You must also confirm the services in Table 1 (page 6) by using
Adminstrative Tool > Services as shown in Figure 14 (page 24).

To install the software:
1. Download the rmhtcsra.exe file from the VMware web site, and save it in a temporary
folder.
2. Executes rmhtcsra.exe.
3. Restart the VMware Site Recovery Manager Service by entering the following commands:
