The four PDU outputs shown in the figures are for internal p ower connections to the disk array only.
Do
not connect any other equipment to these outlets. Using the outlets for any equipment other than
the
disk array may compromise disk array reliability or availability.
The second rack shown in the following figu re has four connections to AC power. Its power requirements
are 200 VAC, single phase, 20 Amps.
HP offers the following AC power cables and connectors, which you can order individually (four of
each are require d per primary or second rack):
• AE190A/AU, option 001 4.5 m power cord w/NEMA L6-20P plug
• AE190A/AU, op tion 002 4.5 m power cord with stripped ends
• AE190A/AU, op tion 003 4.5 m power cord w/ IEC 309 plug
• AE190A/AU, option 004 4.5 m power cord w/ CEE7/7
• AE190A/AU, option 005 4.5 m power c ord w / N E MA L6-30P plug
You can supply your own power cables as long as they meet a 20 amp rating, fitthe IEC320-C20 PDU
inlets, and meet local codes.
North American AC power cabling
Each HP XP20000 rack each requires 20-amp, single-phas e 2 00 VAC power supplied by four power
cords with plugs, four receptacles, and four main disconnect devices (circuit breakers). If the second
rack contains only one disk chassis, only two power cords and breakers are required, but four are
required if you plan to add another disk chassis.
