Selected LDEVs table
Displays the selected LDEVs.
DescriptionItem
A combination of a logical disk controller (LDKC) number, a control unit (CU) number,
and a logical device (LDEV) number. Free indicates free space.
LDEV ID
Displays in alphanumeric characters of 32 characters or less. The characters are
case-sensitive.
LDEV Names
Displays the parity group number (e.g., 1-1)Parity Group ID
• A parity group number starting with E (e.g., E1-1) indicates that the parity group
consists of one or more external volumes.
• A parity group number starting with V (e.g., V1-1) indicates that the parity group
consists of one or more Snapshot virtual volumes (V-VOLs).
• A parity group number starting with X (e.g., X1-1) indicates that the parity group
consists of one or more Thin Provisioning virtual volumes (V-VOLs).
Displays if the volume is a pool volume (pool-VOL). The pool ID is enclosed by
parentheses.
Pool Name(ID)
Displays the emulation type of LDEVs.Emulation Type
Displays the capacity of the LDEV shown for the unit selected by Option > Capacity
Unit.
Capacity
The provisioning types of LDEVs are:Provisioning Type
Basic: Internal volume.
External: External volume
THP: Virtual volume of Thin Provisioning.
Yes: Select yes to save the result of a shredding operation.Data Output
No: Select no to discard the result of a shredding operation.
The total count of LDEVs.Total
Shredding Data Pattern table
Displays the shredding data pattern.
