Workflow for CFL-based spreadsheets in Volume Retention
Use the following workflow for CFL-based spreadsheets in Vol Ret Z:
1. Export the access attributes to a spreadsheet.

spreadsheets in Volume Retention” (page 61).
2. Edit the spreadsheet.
For more information about editing spreadsheets, see “Editing CFL-based spreadsheets in
Volume Retention” (page 62).
3. Import the spreadsheet.
For more information about importing spreadsheets, see “Importing and validating CFL-based
spreadsheets in Volume Retention” (page 64).
Note: If the spreadsheet imports with errors, correct the errors by editing the spreadsheet then
repeat this step.

4. Apply the changes to the spreadsheet.
For more information about applying changes, see Applying changes to spreadsheets in
Volume Retention” (page 66).
Exporting access attributes to spreadsheets in Volume Retention
Use this procedure to export access attributes from CFL to a spreadsheet. When you export the
access attributes, the spreadsheet is created.
