Installing Smart Manager for Mainframe
This section provides an overview and the procedure for installing Smart Manager for Mainframe.
Flow of operations during installation
After transferring the load module for Smart Manager for Mainframe to a host machine, you can
install Smart Manager for Mainframe using SMP/E. Alternatively, you can install it directly in the
target library without using SMP/E.
The following figure illustrates the flow of operations when installing Smart Manager for Mainframe.
