Setting range of command parameter
The effective range of parameters in the following table differs by the storage system type. Even if
the command of RAID Manager is accepted, the error may occur in the storage system.

raidcom add copy_grp
Creates a copy group.
Syntax
raidcom add copy_grp -copy_grp_name <copy group name>
<device group name> [<device group name>] [-mirror_id <mu#>
-journal_id <journal ID#>]
Options and parameters

Specifies the device group (maximum 32 characters) configuring a copy group (maximum
32 characters).
-copy_grp_name <copy
group name><device
You can specify up to two device group names. If you specify more than two, the option
is ignored.
group name>[<device
group name>]
For a copy group for an Business Copy pair, specify two device groups.
For a copy group for a Continuous Access Synchronous pair, specify only one device group
for the relevant storage system side (primary/main or secondary/remote).
Specifies the mirror ID.[-mirror_id <mu#> ]
If this option is omitted (by raidcom get copy_grp), "-" is displayed.
Specifies the journal number (0-255).[ -journal_id <journal
ID#> ]
If this option is omitted (by raidcom get copy_grp), "-" is displayed.
Example
Creating a copy group (ora) by device groups (grp1, grp2).
# raidcom add copy_grp -copy_grp_name ora grp1 grp2
