NOTE: A volatile storage system failure is one in which the storage system memory enters a
volatile state because of the failure, wherein copy pair information, as well as data, is completely
lost, and the hardware information must be reconfigured.

Operation Startup Procedure
Business Continuity Manager provides commands for detecting HyperSwaps, such as YKCONMSG
and YKEWAIT. Table 106 (page 439) describes the differences in functionality between the
YKCONMSG command and the YKEWAIT command.
