1. Recover the storage systems at the primary site and remote site 1 from the failure.
2. From the primary site, execute the YKRESYNC REVERSE command for the Continuous Access
Journal Z copy pair between the primary site and remote site 2.
• YKQUERY
• YKRESYNC REVERSE
• YKEWAIT GOTO(DUPLEX)
3. Re-register the journal group. Then, from the primary site, execute the YKMAKE command for
the Continuous Access Journal Z copy pair between the primary site and remote site 1.
• YKQUERY
• YKMAKE
• YKEWAIT GOTO(DUPLEX)
4. Stop operation at remote site 2.
