NOTE: Note the following when operating a delta resync configuration:
• For the conditions in which a pair status changes from the HOLD status to the HOLDTRNS
status (and vice versa), see “Actions to be Taken When the Delta Resync Function Cannot be
Set Up or Operated Successfully” (page 428).
• Status transition from the HOLD status to the HOLDTRNS status (and vice versa) is performed
asynchronously to user operations.
In the Delta Resync configuration that includes Delta Resync pairs, certain copy pair operations
for a copy group automatically change the copy pair statuses of other copy pairs to other statuses.
Table 63 (page 208) lists the operations that affect other copy groups.
